MISSION POSSIBLE 2006

As part of Community Outreach efforts, the Minneapolis Division FBI has started a program called "Mission Possible." This unique outreach effort is designed to identify disadvantaged, at-risk, or special needs teenagers (ages 13-18) in Minnesota and offer them an inside look at the FBI. These teenagers will be invited to tour the Minneapolis FBI office during regular business hours and observe FBI employees at work. The teenagers will receive a rare opportunity to see the FBI facility which houses law enforcement equipment such as the gun vault used by the SWAT Team.  Participants will also observe an interactive simulated training scenario.  In addition, the "Mission Possible" participants will have the opportunity to talk with FBI Agents about their work.

"Mission Possible" will be offered six times a year. Twenty people is the maximum number of participants at each event and the duration for each 'Mission Possible' is two hours and can be scheduled anytime during normal business hours.  If your organization meets the described requirements for participation and is interested in applying for an opportunity to partake in this unique occasion, please send a letter addressed to:

Special Agent in Charge Ralph S. Boelter Application - Mission Possible
Federal Bureau of Investigation
111 Washington Avenue South, Suite 1100
Minneapolis, MN 55401-2176

Your letter should include a description of your organization, the youth you serve, and why your program should be chosen for this unique opportunity.
Based on review of all letters, participants of the Mission Possible program will be selected by the Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis FBI field office.
