Woman Sentenced on Larceny Charge

United States Attorney Marty J. Jackley announced today that on September
18, 2006, Deborah Fast Wolf, of Oglala, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge
Andrew W. Bogue to 3 years probation, a $100 victims' assessment and $3,052.16
restitution. Fast Wolf, 44, was originally indicted by a federal grand jury
in March, 2006, for Larceny following an investigation conducted by the BIA
and the FBI. The charges stem from incidents occurring between April, 2002,
and January, 2003, when Fast Wolf, while employed as a pay clerk at Loneman
School, stole cash from the school and used it for her personal benefit. On
June 26, 2006, Fast Wolf pled guilty to Larceny . This case was prosecuted
by Assistant United States Attorney Robert A. Mandel.
