Man sentenced to 240 months and lifetime supervision for Aggravated Sexual Abuse

United States Attorney Marty J. Jackley announced today that on November 8, 2006, Jacob Marshall, age 39, of Allen was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Richard H. Battey to 240 months imprisonment, lifetime supervision, and ordered to pay $100 to the Victims' Assistance Fund. Marshall was originally indicted by a federal grand jury in June 2006 for Aggravated Sexual Abuse following an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The charges relate to an incident that occurred in May 2006 in Allen, South Dakota, when Marshall was visiting in the area. On August 18, 2006, Marshall pleaded guilty to Sexual Abuse. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Mara M. Kohn.
