The Minnesota Fugitive Task Force (MFTF) today, announced the arrest of Kendrick Shane Powell, age 19, of St. Paul, Minnesota. Powell was arrested without incident at approximately 2:00 p.m. yesterday, May 11, 2007, in an apartment building located at 431 Central Avenue West, Mora, Minnesota. The apartment is occupied by an acquaintance of Powell's. Powell was wanted by Ramsey County authorities for alleged third-degree criminal sexual conduct. The Mora Police Department assisted in the fugitive investigation and subsequent arrest. Powell is currently being held in the Kanabec County Jail.

A complaint filed on May 10, 2007, charged Kendrick Powell and David Jackson each with four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
