Mississippi Man Pleads Guilty to Abusive Sexual Contact

United States Attorney Marty J. Jackley announced today that on May 24, 2007, David Grant Frazier, Sr., pled guilty in federal court to abusive sexual contact. Frazier, 46, of Mississippi, appeared before U.S. District Judge Andrew W. Bogue and pled guilty following an investigation conducted by the FBI and BIA. The maximum penalty upon conviction is twenty years imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine. Jackley said the charge relates to incidents occurred between January and July 1999 in Porcupine when Frazier engaged in sexual contact with a child under the age of 12. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Carolyn G. Royce. A presentence investigation was ordered and a sentencing date will be set.
