Man Pleads Guilty to Abusive Sexual Contact
United
States Attorney Marty J. Jackley announced that Frank J. White
Thunder, age 20, of Mission appeared before United States District
Chief Judge Karen E. Schreier in Pierre on February 7, 2008, pled
guilty to a superceding information which charged White Thunder
with abusive sexual contact. The maximum penalty upon conviction
is three years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, or both. This charge
relates to abusive sexual contact with a Todd County woman on
January 22-23, 2007. The investigation was conducted by the FBI
and Rosebud Sioux Tribal Police. The case is being prosecuted
by Assistant United States Attorney Randolph J. Seiler. A presentence
investigation was ordered and a sentencing date was set for May
2, 2008. The defendant was remanded to the custody of the U.S.
Marshal pending sentencing.
