Wanblee Man Sentenced 57 Months for Sexual Contact with a Minor
United States Attorney Marty J. Jackley announced that a man charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a child was sentenced on April 13, 2009, by US District Court Chief Judge Karen E. Schreier. Craig Little Thunder, age 28, of Wanblee, was sentenced to fifty-seven months’ imprisonment, lifetime supervised release, and a special assessment of $100 to the Victim's Assistance Fund. Little Thunder was indicted for aggravated sexual abuse by a federal grand jury on September 26, 2007, and pled guilty to a superseding information on January 29, 2009, charging him with sexual contact. Little Thunder pled guilty to intentionally touching the genitalia of a minor child. This case was investigated by the FBI and BIA. The case was prosecuted by Assistant US Attorney Mara M. Kohn. Little Thunder was immediately turned over to the custody of the US Marshal.
