On Tuesday, October 10 2006, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the TCF Bank, skyway level, 444 Cedar Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, was a robbed by a lone individual. The robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for money and threatened that he had a gun. The robber handed the teller a white plastic bag and ordered the teller to put the money in the bag. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money, exited the bank and fled down the escalator. A short time later, only a few blocks away, alert St. Paul Police officers spotted a man running in the skyway with money falling to the ground as he ran. The officers apprehended the alleged bank robber and placed him under arrest.

The robber is described as a Black male, clean shaven, late 30s, approximately 6’0”-6’2” tall, approximately 165lbs., with an average build. The robber was wearing a black warm-up jacket, gray baseball cap, white gloves with leather fingertips.
