The Minneapolis FBI office is asking the public for their assistance in locating a fugitive from justice. The FBI is seeking information on the whereabouts of JACOB JOHN LUSSIER, A/K/A/ Jacob John Martin, age 24, of Red Lake, MN. A federal criminal complaint filed on October 1, 2006, in United States District Court, District of Minnesota, Bemidji, Minnesota, charges Lussier with the alleged September 30, 2006, murder of Harley James Sayers, age 23, of Red Lake, Minnesota.

A federal criminal complaint filed on October 1, 2006, in United States District Court, District of Minnesota, Bemidji, Minnesota, charges Jacob John Lussier with Murder in the First Degree. The complaint alleges that on September 30, 2006, within the exterior boundaries of the Red Lake Indian Reservation, Lussier ordered Harley James to get out of a vehicle and as James was exiting the vehicle, Lussier allegedly shot and killed James with a shotgun. Lussier fled the scene and is considered a fugitive from justice. Lussier may be driving a red with a white stripe, 1988 GMC Jimmy with Red Lake Indian Reservation license plate number 14570.

Anyone with information of Jacob John Lussier’s whereabouts should immediately call 911 or call the FBI at 612-376-3200. Citizens should not approach or to try to apprehend Jacob Lussier.

Height: 6’0”
Weight: 220
Tattoos: Tattoos on left hand, right forearm, upper left arm and right leg.

Warning: Armed & Dangerous, may be in possession of a sawed-off shotgun and/or an SKS rifle. The charges in a federal criminal complaint are merely an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty.
