FBI SEEKING PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE
Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis FBI office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unknown serial bank robber. The robber is believed to be responsible for two bank robberies in Minnesota on September 25, and September 18, 2007; and three bank robberies in South Dakota on September 26, August 14 and August 13, 2007.
The latest Minnesota bank robbery occurred on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at approximately 1:00 p.m., at the TCF Bank, located at 5205 Central Avenue NE, Fridley, Minnesota. The robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for cash. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money and then proceeded to the next victim teller and made an oral demand for cash. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the bank. The robber is described as a white male, 30-40 years of age, brown eyes, brown hair, mustache combined with a few days of facial hair growth, approximately 6’0” tall, and 200 lbs. The robber was wearing a yellow plaid long sleeve button–up shirt, white tee shirt, a gold baseball cap with University of Minnesota “M” on the front and blue jeans.
This robber is believed to be responsible for the September 26, 2007, robbery of the First National Bank located at 4110 Maple Street, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; the September 18, 2007, robbery of the Washington County Bank, located at 2520 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood, Minnesota; the August 13, 2007, robbery of the Valley Bank, located at 3520 South Louise Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and the August 14, 2007, robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 403 North Lawler, Mitchell, South Dakota
