The Minnesota Fugitive Task Force (MFTF) today, announced the arrest of Kenneth Atkinson, Jr., age 35, of Champlin, Minnesota. Atkinson was arrested on Monday, July 16, 2007, at approximately 11:00 a.m., near the intersection of Larpenteur Avenue and Hwy 280. Atkinson was wanted by Hennepin County authorities for alleged criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.

A complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court on June 8, 2007, charges Kenneth Atkinson, Jr. with four counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.
