SEEKING PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE

Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis FBI office is seeking the
public's assistance in identifying three unknown ATM thieves. On March
1, 2008, at approximately 3:20 am, the Cenex Station, located at 204
Front Street, Fairmount, North Dakota, was forcibly entered through
a rear door of the station. Three unknown individuals entered the store
and took several items from the store, including empty DVD cases and
an ATM belonging to Peoples State Bank. It is believed that the suspects
were driving a beige colored mini-van.
On April 10, 2008,
the stolen ATM machine was discovered by employees of the Roberts County
Highway Department in a ditch along County Road 28, approximately 1
½ miles south of Highway 10, just west of Sisseton, South Dakota.
The ATM was severely damaged and the money inside the ATM was missing.
Suspect #1, male,
was wearing a blue tee shirt over his head, brown sweatshirt or jacket,
yellow work gloves, baggy blue jeans and green colored tennis shoes.
Suspect #2, male, black hair, was wearing a gray tee shirt over his
face, a blue shirt, grey hood sweatshirt with "NATIVE" written
on the back, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. Suspect #3, male, was
wearing a red sweatshirt or jacket, with a blue hood, red hat, faded
blue jeans and dark colored shoes.
