On Friday, April 25, 2008, at approximately 6:55 pm, the TCF Bank,
located at 5205 Central Avenue NE, Fridley, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone
individual. The robber approached the victim teller and presented a threatening
demand note for money. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money
and was last seen fleeing on foot in a northeast direction from the bank.
The robber is
described as a white male, approximately late 40s to early 50s, scruffy
facial hair growth, approximately 6’0”-
6’2”tall, 150-170 lbs, with a thin build. The robber was wearing
a black winter stocking cap, camouflage jacket, tan colored pants and dark
colored shoes.
