On Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the Bank
Cherokee located at 985 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, was a robbed
by a lone masked robber. The robber approached the victim teller from
behind as the teller was entering the bank. The robber had his hand
in his hooded sweatshirt pocket and threatened the teller that he had
a gun, although no weapon was displayed. The robber demanded money and
the teller complied. The robber then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed
amount of money.
The robber was
described as an unknown male, approximately 5'10"-5'11 tall, with
a medium build. The robber was wearing a black mask over his entire
face, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and dark
colored gloves.

of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank
robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI (612) 376-3200, the St. Paul Police
Department, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information leading
to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
