On Thursday, January 10, 2008, at approximately
12:15 pm, the TCF Bank, located at 1602 New Brighton Boulevard, Minneapolis,
Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. The robber approached the
victim teller carrying a bouquet of fresh cut flowers and a black canvas
bag. The robber then pulled a dark colored pistol out of his coat and
made an oral demand for money. The robber's breath smelled of alcohol.
The robber then placed the pistol on the counter pointed toward the
teller. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money and was last
seen leaving the area in a late 1990s-early 2000s red Ford Escort.
The robber is described as black male,
moles on his face, goatee, approximately 40-50 years of age, approximately
6'0"tall, with a medium build. The robber was wearing light colored
baseball cap, olive colored military-style parka with fur lined hood,
and blue jeans.
This robber is believed to be responsible
for the December 17, 2007, robbery of the TCF Bank, located at 3717
Lexington Avenue North, Arden Hills, Minnesota; and the December 12,
2007, robbery of the TCF Bank, located at 2100 North Snelling Avenue,
Roseville, Minnesota.

for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
