On Saturday, January 26, 2008, at approximately 11:15 am, the US Bank, located at 9633 Lyndale Avenue South, Bloomington, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. The robber approached the victim teller and made an oral demand for money. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen leaving the bank on foot.
The robber is described as a white male, big front teeth, few days growth of facial hair, 30s to 40s years of age, approximately 5’10”-6’0”tall, with a medium build. The robber was wearing a light colored baseball cap, white tee shirt and a green and gray flannel shirt over a gray hood sweatshirt.
This robber is believed to be responsible for the September 25, 2007, robbery of the TCF Bank, located at 5205 Central Avenue NE, Fridley, Minnesota; the September 18, 2007, robbery of the Washington County Bank, located at 2520 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood, Minnesota, 2007; and three bank robberies in South Dakota on September 26, 2007, August 14, 2007, and August 13, 2007.
