On Thursday, March 13, 2008, at approximately 6:45 a.m., the TCF Bank
located at 8020 Highway 7, St. Louis Park, Minnesota, was a robbed by a
lone masked gunman. The robber entered the locked bank after throwing
a chunk of asphalt through the glass doors of the bank. The robber vaulted
over the counter and entered a back room where bank employees were working.
The robber pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the bank employees
and ordered them all to the floor. The robber then ordered the employees
to put money into a canvas bank bag the robber was carrying. The robber
then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money. The robber received
a dye pack that exploded and he may have red dye on his hands or clothes.
The robber was described as a black or Hispanic male, possibly
25-35 years old, approximately 5’10”-6'0" tall, 180-200
pounds, wearing a black nylon stocking mask over his face, a gray hooded
sweatshirt, brown thigh-length down jacket, black running pants, white
tennis shoes and black gloves.
This robber is believed to be responsible for the February
1, 2008, robbery of the TCF Bank located at 8020 Highway 7, St. Louis
Park, Minnesota; the January 11, 2008, robbery of the TCF Bank located
at 3899 Silver Lake Road NE, St. Anthony , Minnesota;
and the November 2, 2007, robbery of the TCF Bank located at 3899
Silver Lake Road NE, St. Anthony , Minnesota.

of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank
robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI (612) 376-3200, the St. Louis Park
Police Department, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information
leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
