On Friday, April 4, 2008, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the TCF Bank, located at 2163 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. The robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for money and implied he had a weapon. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running west from the bank. As he was fleeing the area, a red dye pack exploded.
The robber is described as a white male, brown hair, few days facial hair growth, pale complexion, dark circles under his eyes, in his early 20s, approximately 5’7”-5’10”tall, 150-160 lbs with a thin build. The robber was wearing a brown knit winter hat, brown suede jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.
Shortly thereafter, the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 6445 Nicollet Avenue, Richfield, Minnesota was allegedly robbed by the same suspect. The robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for money. The robber received an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen fleeing east towards a residential area. The robber’s description is the same as the earlier bank robbery and he was wearing the same clothes.
This robber is believed to be responsible for the March 6, 2008, robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 4712 Chicago Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota; and the February 29, 2008, robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1827 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota.
