The Minnesota Fugitive Task Force (MFTF), today, announced the arrest of Isai Flores, aka “Easy E”, age 20, of St. Paul, Minnesota. Hennepin County authorities wanted Flores for Aiding and Abetting Attempted Murder in the Second Degree related to a drive-by shooting incident that occurred on December 10, 2006, on Interstate 94 in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Today, at approximately 7:30 a.m., members of the Minnesota Fugitive Task Force arrested Flores at an apartment complex located at 1089 Burnquist Street in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Minnesota Fugitive Task Force believes that Flores fled to Mexico in early 2007 and returned to the Twin Cities in March 2008. Two other defendants that were involved in the drive-by shooting incident are already in custody.

A federal criminal complaint filed December 29, 2006, in United States District Court, District of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, charges Isai Flores with Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution based on a local complaint filed on December 21, 2006, in Hennepin County District Court, Minneapolis, Minnesota, charging Isai Flores with one count of Aiding and Abetting Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Aiding and Abetting Drive-By Shooting.
