Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in St. Paul

On Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the TCF Bank located at 1988 Suburban Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. The robber entered the bank, approached the victim teller, passed her a note, and verbally demanded money from her. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and stuffing it into his pockets, the robber grabbed the note back and left the bank on foot. He was last seen walking eastbound on Suburban Avenue towards Ruth Street.

The robber is described as a clean shaven white male, approximately 5’9” to 6’0” tall, with a slender build. He was wearing a dark, long-haired wig, large dark sunglasses, a white long-sleeved t-shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers. He wore a latex glove on one hand.

Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200, the St. Paul Police Department, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
