Seeking Information on Maplewood Bank Robbery

On Saturday, August 29, 2009, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2945 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. The robber entered the bank, approached the victim teller, and presented a demand note for money. The robber fled the bank on foot and was last seen heading west toward the Maplewood Mall.

The robber is described as an Asian female, early 20s, dark shoulder length hair, approximately 5’0, and 135-145 lbs. The robber was wearing thick-rimmed glasses, light blue shirt, dark blue zipper sweater and capris.

Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200, the Maplewood Police Department, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
