Seeking Public’s Assistance in Identifying Minneapolis Bank Robber
On Thursday, September 17, 2009, at approximately 12:20 p.m., the Guaranty Bank located in Rainbow Foods at 1540 New Brighton Boulevard, Minneapolis, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual. After entering the bank, the female robber approached the victim teller and passed a note demanding cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber placed the cash in a black tote-style case, exited the bank, then dumped her sunglasses and baseball hat in a trash can. As she left the Rainbow Foods, a red dye pack activated in the parking lot and the robber removed and discarded her jacket, pants, and t-shirt next to the store. She was last seen walking north on Benjamin Street near the intersection of 18th Avenue wearing jeans shorts and a red tank top still carrying the black tote case.
The robber is described as a white female, approximately 5’6” tall, 170 pounds, in her mid 30’s with blonde or light brown hair. She was initially wearing a brownish jacket over a light colored t-shirt, brown New York Yankees baseball cap, dark sunglasses, and brown fleece pants.
Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this bank robbery contact the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200, the Minneapolis Police Department, or Crime Stoppers. A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
